The Faculty of Humanities is a leading center for study and research in the arts, social sciences, education, and literature in South Africa and Africa. The faculty consists of five schools: Wits School of Arts, Wits School of Education, Human and Community Development, Literature Language and Media, and Social Sciences. Our diverse programs foster critical thinking, creativity, and a deep understanding of human culture and society. The faculty prepares students for careers in education, the arts, media, social work, and various fields that require strong analytical and communication skills.
